Re: MySpace/Facebook question

Everyone knows I have. Recently. What everyone doesn't know is there was more than one person I found behaving badly (no one here), but those people are adults. I only ratted on the kid who I felt was in danger.

Re: MySpace/Facebook question

I have a friend who has found out all kinds of things about her daughter through myspace. Talk about stupid--her daughter, that is! This has been going on since her daughter was in middle school (she's a junior in high school now).
I don't really have any relatives to check up on. I have a cousin who has two teenagers, but I don't know any of them well enough to check them out online.
As for my friends, we are close enough that they TELL me about their naughty behavior (whenever there is anything to tell).

Tammy, LOL. My niece is in her 20's and does things I don't approve of but she's of age.

Re: MySpace/Facebook question

I would never have ratted out my niece if she was 20 either. But she is a kid. And I worry about my nieces and nephews. They are all 13 and younger, though.

I did find something odd though. I found a family member had lied about his age online. He said he was younger than he is. Just 10 years or so which still makes him middle aged. I don't know who he thinks he's fooling. He looks about 10 years older than he is! So that I'm 20 years younger than I look thing wouldn't fool a cat.

He lied about a lot of things on his page. Not things that make me think he is looking for dates, but things that make me think he is not all there. Like saying he's biracial, when his photo is right there. Dude, one look at that photo and everyone knows you are not biracial. Having ancestors from more than one European country make you.... Much whiter and fairer skinned than I am!

Re: MySpace/Facebook question

If you find that again, try the FBI. They have a whole unit just for catching child pornographers.

Re: MySpace/Facebook question

I find it amazing the things people will post on Facebook and such. I've gotten all sorts of interesting information about people on those sites.

Re: MySpace/Facebook question

I just looked up my own last name to see who all in the family was on MySpace and there was her photo large as life with her full name attached.
