I've read so much and narrowing it down to "favorites" is really hard but here is my list...

Wicked by Gregory Maguire
Memoirs of a Geisha
A knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux
White Oleander by Janet Fitch
I was a Teenage Fairy by F.L. Block
ShopGirl by Steve Martin
My Sweet Audrina by V.C. Andrews

Re: Favorite books?

When my mom was alive, she couldn't wait for the next Dean Koontz book to come out, and I wasn't really into that kind of reading.

Recently I've read 2 of his books, and am working on a 3rd.
The way he writes is so very descriptive, and the novels are so intense.

Velocity, The Husband, and I'm working on Intensity

Also, this other book I picked up is called Missing Mom, it's kind of a 'self-help' kind of book. It's about a young woman who loses her mother (is is quite young herself) and how she never dealt with her mothers death until several years later. (which is the same thing i'm going thru now)

Re: Favorite books?

The Kitchen God's Wife by Amy Tan
The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy
The Same Sweet Girls by Cassandra King
All of the books in the Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber
When Character was King by Peggy Noonan
I am sure I'll think of some more. I am talking on the phone with my best friend right now, and I can't think.
