Rotten day

Steve got laid off again today. This game is getting extremely old. They rehired the guy they fired a couple of weeks ago in a very unethical way.

Also, I've been having irregular heartbeats today (heart palpitations? I guess). I'll tell my dr about it on March 2 when I see her.

I'm pretty stressed out right now. I'm back to looking for a part-time job on top of working f/t and going to school.

Re: Rotten day

I hope things get better for you soon!! I kind of know how you feel. Shane works construction and things are a little slow right now. The job their working on will finish up next year, but as of right now, they have no other jobs to go to once that is done. I mean for sure he will have a job until next year, but after that, if the economy is still as bad as it is now, noone will be wanting anything built. So I just keep positive thoughts that they will eventually find something between now and then.

What does Steve do?

Steve is an auto mechanic.

Re: Rotten day

Wow he is being laid off from that? Things must be bad your way if people are not getting their vehicles fixed for mechanics to have work. I really hope this stimulus plan works out for everyone like it is suposed to! *HuGs* girl.

Re: Rotten day

That stinks. I know Mike is looking to hire a good mechanic--want to move to CT? The last one seemed good then called out sick then showed up at lunch time and took his tools and left. Mike is service advisor at a dealerships. A good mechanic is hard to find.

Re: Rotten day

Wow! If we lived in CT I would be letting Steve know about that job, Abby.

I know his dream job is to be an audio visual/sound technician. I personally wish we could move somewhere that would give him more opportunities to get into that field. If Steve told me "Hey, let's move" I'd jump at the opportunity (after I get my MBA). I have a feeling that will not happen.
