Need advice asap.....!!!

Okay listen guys I know this might sound crazy and I hope I posted this in the right forum if not I expect the mods to correct it for me (thanks) Anyhow I am having a little issue hope some one has an answer My husband and I have been together for 5years I recently had a baby with him She was Born Sept 24th she is now almost 5months old obviously....I also Have Four other children whom are NOT his all from my ex husband. Anyhow it was always assumed for a very long time that my husband could never get any one pregnant because Nobody ever got pregnant by him he was with many women who either had children already or after the relationship ended with him got pregnant by some other guy but NEVER by him....Well eventually I indeed ended up getting pregnant and bearing my husbands 1st born child a little girl ....He is only 26years old and in good health I was wondering could he maybe be sterile? or something? Because I know this sounds crazy but we have been trying for the past 4 and a half months for another baby and to no success obviously I really wanted another baby but it took us 3 and a half years together to conceive our daughter without any help from a doctor....I am only 28 But I wanted to have my last child before I was 30 or by my 30th birthday at latest but I am not sure whats the problem here is it him is it me??? what do i do?

Well it's possible he has a low sperm count or something. If it's really a concern he can go get checked out.

It definantly is a major concern I guess with our daughter we just got lucky. He never had any kids like I said with anyone and there was not a issue with none of those females fertility or mine obviously....And I just dont know how to approach him on it or what could be the issue.

My SIL had to have fertility treatments and ended up with 2 beautiful twin girls. I don't know if the 'problem' was on her end or her husbands end but she also is an L&D nurse. I will ask her if she has any ideas of how to suggest fertility tests. I know that can be a very sensitive subject.

Best of luck to you and keep the faith. If it's any consolation at all I am 29 and about to give birth to my first and I hope to have 3! My plan is just get 'em out before I am 35 but even then woman are having babies later and later.

Also, I am sure you know but there are certain positions you can have sex in to maximize sperm success. When my hubby and I first started TTC we had been trying for 6 months with no luck and then we tried in a different position and were pregnant the next month! I sadly miscarried that pregnancy but when we could try again we went back to that same position and not 2 months later I was pregnant with my daughter Ava who will be born soon!

The problem could be you or it could be him or it could be both. I realize you have four children from your first marriage, but there is such a thing as secondary infertility. When my husband and I went through ferility treatments to have our daughter, we learned that was a very common problem.
Your husband could have a low sperm count or could have other things going on that hinder his fertility. Or it could be a pH thing (another very common problem), where your body pH makes it hard for his sperm to survive.
If you are really concerned, you are going to have to talk to your husband and then you both need to go see a doctor to be checked. No one can really say for sure what it is. It could be something that none of us know about or have thought of, and it could be something that is easy to fix or overcome, but requires medical intervention.

It doesn't sound like a problem yet. Keep in mind that you have a 4.5 month old and your body may still be recovering from birth even though your mind is ready. Keep trying every other day. I'm not sure a fertility doctor would see you at this point. You just had a baby and usually they want to see someone trying for 12-18 months every other day who has not just had a baby. Try to relax.....I know it's hard.

Well looks like there is not an issue guys I just found out Im pregnant and got pregnant on birth control pills at that.
