Joey visited a friend on Friday, and a couple hours after he came home, he had a terrible case of hives - a weird rash, some areas very small, some areas as big as an adult hand. And he said they itched like mad. At first we thought it was bug bites, maybe, from the walk home.

I slathered him in anti-itch cream, and gave him a dose of Benadryl, and everything seemed to go away.

The problem is, the rash keeps recurring. Different places, different times of day, different intensities, different diet during the day. Today was the first time he woke up with the rash - this time on his lower stomach and upper leg (but not in between).

There's no fever. He feels fine, except for a mild cough, but I don't know for sure that it coincides with the onset of this (he might have had it before).

And today is the first day in a while where we've got multiple inches of snow, and it's still coming. Driving to the ped will suck, if I have to do that.

Any thoughts?
