Logan Has His First...

Fever....UGH! its not extremely bad though. He woke up last night at 11:30 just the most pitiful sounding cry ever. I though it was because he lost his bottle so I put it back in his mouth made sure he had it and headed back up to bed.

1:30am came and he was back at it. This was not normal, since we moved our bedroom upstairs last Sunday he has been sleeping all night. I checked his head and it was really warm and so was the rest of his body.

He had on a fleece once piece w/feet sleeper and crying so I thought that might have been the prob, so I changed him into something a little cooler, changed his diaper, and gave him a little tylanol. We took his temp and it was at 99.8 not too bad.

This moring he got up at his normal 6:30 time and played, ran around, and jabbered like normal, but still had a warmness to him.

He has not other symptoms, no diareha(sp), vomiting, nothing. I think it may be just teething. When I left him with my mom this morning it seems like he was cooling off, and has not called me so I am assuming everything is ok. I am going to keep my eye on it, and if it is not gone by tonight I am going to call his DR in the morning.

Re: Logan Has His First...

It could be teething. My kids have both gotten fevers from teething. You have done all you can do for teething pain and fever. He sounds like he's feeling better now. It's rough when little ones teethe.
