Life after divorce...

Does it sound awful that life after divorce is absolutely AMAZING? LOL.

Within a week of separating from Daniel, I felt a HUGE sense of relief.

Now, a year and a half later, I'm happier than I've ever been. I'm more confident too. I used to be terrified of driving, but now I have no issues. And I'm back in school. The things that I know I can do now compared to everything I knew I couldn't do then, the difference is amazing.

What about everyone else? How is life after divorce?

Life is much better. I'm still tryin to get back on my feet but I don't regret my choice to leave.

OMG life after divorce was AMAZING!!!! Once my ex and I separated, it took me awhile to see what a blessign it was. I found more freedom, and confindence in ME

It is really an amazing experience, that's the best part in life where you learn that you made a mistake and never do it again. Stand strong.

I'm 2 years on my own and life is great. I have a wonderful relationship with the most important person in the world (myself) and more self confidence than I've ever had. Things are hard once in a while ... there never seems to be enough money and parenting 3 kids on your own can drive you out of your mind ... but overall, I'm living (so far) the best part of my life.

I was lucky that there weren't any kids involved when I got divorced. It was sad and liberating all at the same time. Mostly, I felt a huge sense of relief. So did he (he told me this years later). Most of the time, it really is for the best.

Oh definitely Brenda! If even one person is unhappy enough that they have made the very tough decision to leave the marriage, it's better to part ways.

Life after divorce is about "moving on." Practically, there are so many things you missed because you're stuck at home. After divorce, this is the best time to accomplish things that you failed to do before. The pain lasts for a moment, but when you change your perspective, you'll see the brighter side of it.
