Please keep this family in your prayers...

My good friend Amy went in this morning to be induced. They found no heartbeat-the baby had died She had just felt movement the night before too-I just don't understand. Now she still has to go through labor and delivery.
PLEASE keep Amy, her husband Jim and their son Colton in your prayers today as well as their entire extended family. I know that they would really appreciate it. This was their miracle baby (Colton is from a previous relationship and is 14yrs old). I am not sure of the baby's name, it was to be a surprise but I do know that it is a little girl.

I talked to Shell last night on IM. She was there with Amy all day.
She said that Parker Nicole was born at 4:30p and that Amy just wouldn't let her go. She weighed 8pnds 10 ounces and of course absolutely beautiful.

Re: Please keep this family in your prayers...

I know from experience that stillbirth is one of the hardest things a woman (and family) could ever go through.
Sending up lots of prayers for comfort & strength.

Krista, that is the exact thing that happened to me. If she ever needs to talk let me know. I'll remember her and her family in my prayers. It brings it all back everytime I hear about it happening.

Re: Please keep this family in your prayers...

That is horrible! My mom had a little girl who was stillborn due to a hole in her heart. She named her Janet. So technically I have two sisters, unfortunately I never got to meet Janet (my mom and dad's first child). My mom hardly ever spoke of her. It was probably too hard to talk about it.

Your friend is in my prayers.

Re: Please keep this family in your prayers...

My prayers are with them. My cousin went thru this a few years ago. She found out 2 weeks before her due date that her DD had died. They made her finish the pregnancy and go into labor naturally (3.5 weeks later). I can't imagine what she must be going thru.
