Easter - musical or cantatas?

Does your church have Easter musical or cantata?

This year our church is having an Easter musical with drama. We, the choir members and actors, are dressing in Biblical costume. I'm SO stoked!!! I can't wait! We will have it all memorized...the first time we have memorized ever since I've been a member there. I did Easter and Christmas musicals at the church I grew up in and had so much fun!! It is an awesome way to tell the Easter story.

Re: Easter - musical or cantatas?

Our Senior Choir performs. Nothing like a musical - just a song or two.

We are having Stuarts baptism this year on Easter.

Re: Easter - musical or cantatas?

No...well the youth group does. We usually go to the early early service at 6 and that is outside at a pond and then breakfast at the church. We are in the midst of getting a new preacher so I don't know what they really have planned this year

Re: Easter - musical or cantatas?

apparently Kara was nt given much time to do something, so we are doing something a bit simple. Still going to have Flags, signers and billow cloths though simple, it will be beautiful.

This is the song we are doing..
