Zachariah for Tuesday

Zachariah is having his tonsils and adnoids out at Yale Children's Hospital in New Haven, CT on Tuesday. We won't know the time until Monday evening. I know everyone is saying...my kid had it, it is routine, etc. and it does help but what will help the most are any prayers. Thanks girls!

You can count on mine. No surgery is just "routine", especially when it's your baby going through it. So the little guy has my , and mommy has lots of !

I remember just asking about the procedure, that was quick scheduling. Oh Zach and Mommy! Everything will be okay!

Surgery is surgery no matter how routine it is. I will keep him (and you) in my prayers!

The hospital just called. We have to be there at 8:55 ;-) and they told us the surgery will be about an hour later. They said to expect to be there about 4 hours. He will have a drink with a narcotic in it while he's with us in the waiting room to make him "happy". Then he will go on his own to the operating room, if not I'll go with him but they assure me he will wan to go at this point. Then they will give him gas to put him to sleep and then intubate him and give him an IV to give him fluids, pain meds, antibiotics and anti-nausea meds. They can also use the IV if anything goes wrong. I feel comfortable with the staff and doctors and am leaving it in God's hands. Just saying that is making me cry. Tammy sent me some good scriptures (arent' they all good). I'm claiming God's promises and will let you know how great Zach does tomorrow afternoon! I love you for the prayers and kind words!

Abby, that's just the way it was with Travis. The narcotic they gave Travis to drink made him so grumpy! As nervous as I was at that time, it was actually comical. We needed that laugh to ease the tension that morning. They did let Kyle go back with him, which I believe I posted earlier. God is always with you, and tomorrow won't be an exception because He is a faithful and awesome God. And God sent me those scriptures to share with you! I am just glad he laid you on my heart today. Lots of and for you all. You have my number, you can call me.
