Ok so I went online yesterday and did some research on all forms of BC.
I seen the IUDs listed and read up on thoes, there are no health risks (cancer, stork, heartattack, etc.) They also seemed very reasonable priced.
I was just wondering if any of you have used these? I seen someone post that they had a bad experience with it on my update post about not being preggo. Has anyone else had a bad experience?
Also, I read up on the low dose pill. There are still risk factors involved with the low dose pill. Who all takes these? And if you don't mind sharing your health and family history with me I would like to know if there are any cancers in your family, heart attack, stroke, etc. Either for you or family.
My doc don't want me on the pill bc I have cancers on both sides of my family. There are vocal/voice box tumors, breast, liver, and a few others. We also have high blood pressure, diabeities(sp), heart disease, and seriosis of the liver(witch was cused by excessive drinking I am sure of, even though noone has officially told me, but I know lol). He belives that if I get on the pill I would have to be examined once a month for a year and then every 2-3 months for the rest of my life to keep my health in check if I do the pill. Honestly, I hated going to the doc when I was preggo that often so I could not imagine doing it for the rest of my life.
The others that I was not too sure of were the sponge, the "natural" family planning. They both have the same stats of 25 out of 100 had a pregnancy if used correctly. They emphasized that if you are comfortable with your partner and keep track the natural should work and if your partner pulls out and uses spermaside with the sponge it can be over 100%. I think that is more work then the condom
As for the natural family planning, I have trouble writing down dates now with using a condom let alone no using anything so that is out of the question.
So if you all could help me out with some information that would really be appreciated. I figured personal experience from women would be better then me going into the docs office and asking my male doc lol. At least I would have some female views about things.

With this pregnancy my face has been the best that it has been in probably 10yrs! I worry about having a face full of zits again and then having the Mirena make it even worse. Guess I could just try it and see first.
