What makes kids think it is ok to post nude pictures?!?! When I was 14 I was in sports and all that other fun OUTDOORS stuff...now it is all about showing off body parts and being naked. I miss the good ol days.

and there was no way in hades a 14 year old would have been allowed access to the family's expensive pride and joy unless she was right there where mum and dad could make sure she didn't drop it. And must families didn't have a polaroid, just one of those new fangled camera with an automatic flash, heck you didn't even have to buy and replace those big blue/silver flash bulbs anymore

and even if somehow the photo's where taken no one would print them as Lenora said, when we were 14 they would quite happily print pictures of kids playing in the bath or back yard swimming pool naked ( get the thought police in, according to the PC thought police these days no one ever just looks at a photo of a child covered in bubbles, or see a kid totally wrapped up in playing in the water and thinks "oh they are so cute" every one of us is a potential pedaphile and that is a sad way to live. unfortunately they have been proven 'right' to many times so the rest of us are tarred with the same brush ) but they would never have printed a photo of a naked teenager or adult. thedy would have had to have one of "those" film developers, sent them the film, have them illegally develop the film and send it back. No way a child of 14 would have managed all those difficult and expensive steps.

these days they strip off, point their phone camera's at a body part and sent it via e-mail to their computer and from there to face book.

Things don't always improve with technology. While I love being able to catch up with photo's of my grandsons, I hate the thought that in a few short years what they may be exposed to because some moron in their class decides to fforward photo's to them via phone or email.

OK wasn't expecting a big rant and rave to this, but I guess it struck a nerve.

I agree she doesn't meed prosecuting, she needs counsilling on why she thinks that
a: her boyfriend should see her naked bits
b: Why wasn't she thinking clearly enough to realise that several million people who weren't her boyfriend whould be able to see them.
c: why is her self esteem so low that she feels she has to post explicit photo's of herself to anyone at all to make them like her.

This is just ONE of the reasons I won't let Drew have a cell phone! Sorry, but as much as I love him, I don't trust him NOT to do something just this stupid!
