Does anybody know exactly what changes the doctor looks for during an exam to confirm pregnancy?
I know that he/she checks to see if there are changes to the cervix and the uterus, I'm just wondering what changes they look for........

They will do a HCG test to confirm pregnancy.

The cervix will be closed and darker in color and the uterus will be slightly inlarged and firmer than usual(I think that was what I was told when I had Josh). But Heather is right, the HCG is the best way for them(you) to tell. I hope that was the info you were looking for.
