Don't laugh ~ Wanting to tone up

Thread Starter
I'm going to be attending a really big comic convention in Chicago this summer, and well, don't laugh, but I'm seriously considering dressing up for it ... yea, I mean the whole super hero get-up. I have a friend who is going to be promoting his comic there and he mentioned how cool it would be to have someone dressed as one of his characters. I have no idea how I'm going to pull it off but I know that there isn't even any point if I can't do some toning before then.
I don't know how much I can accomplish in 4 months but I'm going to try. Does anyone have any tips on building muscle tone or links to sites that could help? I'm having trouble finding information specifically for women.

I gotta ask - what Super Hero are you going as? Comic conventions can be tons of fun (yeah, I am gamer so I do crap like that - or used to before kids). It will be loaded with ALOT of nerds and geeks, most of whom (although they won't look it) have more degrees than they know what to do with. These are NOT stupid people, no matter how socially inept they may behave! But they are lots of fun!

Pilates is supposed to be really good for toning. You can find some free instructional videos on YouTube. Post pics when you get them!
