White particles floating in thawed BM

Soooo I finally decided to thaw some breastmilk for my outting today, well once I thawed it I noticed some little white particles in it, so I thought it was just the separation of the milk, so I shook the bottle to get it all back to normal... it didn't work these little white things stuck to the side of the bottle and didn't mix in. Anyone know what they are and are they safe for my baby?

btw the milk isn't that old it was pumped in april

Re: White particles floating in thawed BM

It mixes better once it's warmed up some but it's not necessary to do so before you feed it to your baby.
