Okay as you all know I am pregant againmy qoestions to you guys is this I pretty much know I am done but I am a little uncertin about the tubal ligation like what if 10 years down the line I decided I wanted another one?
Part of me feels like if I do this I will feel like a piece of me is missing and it will depress me.... I also do know that a 7th child I cannot afford financially 6 was pushing it but I dont belive in abortions so I am obviously having it.
Secondly my husband is considering a vasectomy as well......I am just soooo unsure what to do at this point I even had a nightmare the other night that I cut my tubes and was crying in the operating room because I felt terrible about it. Some advice would be great. Thanks.

Re: Major questions and concerns.

I have had my tubes tied. There are times when I feel a little sad about it, but usually I am glad I did it. When I feel sad, I remind myself of what my reasons were for doing it and they remain valid. Sometimes, a tubal will reverse itself, but it is like a 1 in 2000 or so chance. My cousin had her tubal reversed and became pregnant shortly afterward. However, I would still consider a tubal a permanent birth control solution.

Re: Major questions and concerns.

I've had my tubes tied as well and like Lenora, have those moments when I remember that I'm not going to have any more babies and feel a little sad about it, but I also know it was the right decision for me.

What about mirena or something like that. I think it lasts 5 years.

Re: Major questions and concerns.

Yeah if you're not 100% sure then don't do anything permanent.
