I waited to rent this one on DVD... It looked pretty good in the trailers but O wasn't sure if it was worth spending what like the $15 on a movie ticket... esp since I'm not really a big fan of Tom Cruise.

I love historically based movies and I actually really enjoyed this one. I guess it got a lot of criticism bc the characters didn't speak with German accents... I actually thought it was neat bc the opening scene has German subtitles and then it just transitions into regular English... I like that bc I could focus on the storyline and not Tom Cruise trying to have a German accent lol

Anyone else see this one?

I liked it, but I am very sick of war movies. My dh has been watching tons of war movies lately.

I like the positive aspect of the German people being shown. Some of them did have honor and a sense of justice when it came to Hilter instead of just following him like sheep.
