50 Pound Mark!

Well, I have made it to the 50 pound mark and IT HAS STAYED OFF FOR MORE THAN 4 MONTHS. Mostly this has been due to how bad my teeth are and the fact that I can't chew most things anymore. The rest of it, according to the doctor, is menopause. So I guess there is a silver lining in every cloud! LOL!

Re: 50 Pound Mark!

Thanks ladies! I'm still trying to lose about another 20 pounds, but the doctor only wants me to lose about 5-10. I'm at 155 now and down from an 18/20 in womens sizes to a 12/14 in ladies. Hard to find clothes that fit thru the hips, tho. tummy is smaller, but the hips aren't going anywhere! LOL!

Re: 50 Pound Mark!

Ya know I am about 155 also and uggg I HATE looking for clothes, the fit tight in my thighs super lose on my waist and tight on my huge butt!

I would def have to say You are doing a good job!

How tall are you? If anything I would say only lose 10 lbs to be at an ideal weight

Re: 50 Pound Mark!

That is great Brenda! I have those same issues with the waist to hip ration thing. I hear from women a lot so I'm just going to guess it has more to do with the cut of most pants than with our bodies though.

Re: 50 Pound Mark!

I am 5 foot 7.5 inches. I never had this problem until after I had kids. I think it has to do with our hips spreading for childbirth. Once that happens, clothes never fit the same way again.
