Who is planning on taking a vacation this year with the way the economy is?

We are going to see my parents, but only for a few days. We will be picking up my n eice and bringing her back to stay with us for a few weeks. Other than that, we willbe spending most of out time at the pool. Can't afford to do anything else.

Chad and I are planning a trip to Chicago in August. There is a big Con that Chad wants to go to and I have family in the area. It won't be a long trip but since we are saving money staying with my family, we plan on doing some fun things while we are there.

I am going on the annual girls trip to the beach in two weeks! We'll be there for four nights. Then we are going on our family beach vacation June 27-July 11. Then Kyle and I are going to Charleston with the other couples from our home fellowship group July 24-26. It's been a blessing to have all the tutoring and work from the publishing company, and Kyle's overtime and working in Seattle has been a huge help, too.

Im gonna skip around from family to family! Visit my cousin in GA and my auntie, do a few things out there like six flags and water parks!

Looks like we'll be staying home again this year. We're saving to send dd to private school and now we have a whole new mountain of medical bills. We plan on doing some cheap stuff around the state as long as gas doesn't get too expensive.

We're just doing some day trips around the state, so we can show Rowland around more. He's from Idaho and Texas is an adventure for him already.

We are going to San Diego and LA in July, and NYC in October. Okay, October isn't summer but still a vacation.

I am going to Nova Scotia, with my parents the first week in August!
I can't wait!
This will be the first break I get, without kids, in 22 years! Oh happy day!

We are taking the kids camping throughout the summer also.

We went to San Diego and LA in May. My kids are currently visiting their grandparents in Nor Cali and will be returning in another wk. Their going to San Francisco and Santa Cruz Boardwalk.. when they return, Ill be visiting family in New mexico. Pretty much by than summer is over..

Vacation this year

I was planning on going, I saved up a bit of money to get there but then there were a few things which prevented me from getting there this year, I guess there's always next year though.
