This is wonderful news for my beautiful state! Unless you live with this destructive practice, you have no idea how ugly once beautiful areas become after mountain top removal. The water pollution alone is devistating where once pristine streams are instantly toxic and can no longer be used for fishing and most importantly, drinking water. All of our water in WV comes from rivers and streams, so it matters a whole heck of a lot to us when it is poisoned with mercury and other substances.
