Dry cough

Jerren and I both are dry coughing. I have never had allergy problems but I started first then he did. Any suggestions? I usually only have my coughing fits at night and right now I am still coughing and I am at work.

I am going to clean the bedroom this weekend to hopefully help the problem if it is dust or something.

Re: Dry cough

It could be a little cold. I hope you both feel better soon. *hugs*

Re: Dry cough

Always be careful with a cough. Especially when a small child has it.
I would maybe only wait a few days and if he still has it, maybe to be safe, have a doctor see him.
Coughing can be a symptom, of so many things.

Re: Dry cough

Are either of you still coughing? Ally had a nasty little dry cough last month. After a few days, I took her to the doctor. No fever or anything, but she had bronchitis, of all things! Better safe than sorry where a little one is concerned.

Re: Dry cough

Thanks everyone for the helpful info, I am still coughing a little at night. Jerrens cough went away. he just had his 4 month check up monday and the dr didn't say anything about his lungs so I am pretty sure he is ok.

Bad thing is the baby sitters kiddos have a tummy bug. I hope Jerren doesn't get sick!
