I remember awhile back there was a thread about motion sickness, but I was wondering if anyone else gets *this* type of motion sickness???

When I'm playing a video game, or watching something that's virtual reality/3d etc I get very very sick! Now, at Universal Studios when you get inside a simulator that actually mimics the movements of it, I'm fine.

Is there any way to treat this? I tried to play Mario today and it didn't end well.

I have severe motion sickness and other than medication nothing works for me. However, there's a pressure bracelet that you can try as well as ginger. Here's an article for gamers who experience this problem.

I've NEVER been able to play video games. It's called simulator sickness and is a form of motion sickness... some people are affected by watching 3D video games (the kind that travel into the screen instead of just across) on any screen and others only on the smaller screens. In very untechnical terms, it's caused by a disagreement between what your brain, eyes, and inner ear (where balance is controlled) are registering.
