I've read all my books and I am still in bed a lot with the flu, a person can only take so much news, so I checked up on an old favorite activity: Celebrity plastic surgery! See how the stars have mutilated themselves with recently.

Melanie Griffith: I don't think she's had plastic surgery. I think she was probably a major smoker and sun worshiper that has caused a lot of premature aging.

You know what's sad to me, most of these people are considered the most beautiful people in the world and they felt they needed to be "improved". Selma Hayak is so very beautiful. I don't think the nose job enhanced her that much. She was already "prefection". It's just sad these already very attractive people feel so much pressure to become even better. While the rest of us would just like to look as good as most of these folks looked in the Before picture!

Heck, i would like to look as good as some of them do when they aren't expecting to be photographed. I don't get it. Sure, I want to look good. But I'm not willing to go thru all that. Surgery, pain, swelling, hiding out for weeks until you look "decent" again. If you don't like the way I look, then don't look at me! And some of them just keep at it. Boggles the mind.
