Potty Training a boy

When should you start training a boy? My daughter was trained at 2 years old. My son mostly likes to play with the potty chair, but right now he is too young anyways. They say boys are slower than girls, so I was just wondering.

Re: Potty Training a boy

Every kid is different, but I know my son and 3 of my nephews didn't really shopw any interest until they were almost 3. Just try every once in a while. if they are interested, keep doing it. if they aren't don't push. They're get there eventually.

I agree with Brenda. My dd was a very late trainer. Every kid is different. Here is a potty training checklist: http://www.babycenter.com/0_potty-tr...cklist_4384.bc

Re: Potty Training a boy

wow I didn't know it took boys so long... I hope mine takes to the toilet a lot quicker.

I saw these stand up urinals for little boys that I wanted to try once he got old enough...dunno how that will work out though.
