I had really wanted to see this since I read the book earlier this year. I wasn't expecting to love it since no one ever "loves" the movie version of a book they read ... Unless it's Memoirs of a Geisha of course.
Anyway, while I can't say I didn't like the movie, It could have been so much better. The acting was weird and felt forced and I just really couldn't connect with the characters. They followed the story of the book pretty closely only omitting things here and there but something was lost in translation.

It's a neat story Brenda and not a "bad" movie. I think anyone who watches it will feel a disconnection with the characters though.
