I JUST heard of these and they look pretty neat, anyone use them?

I do!

They are pretty neat! I didn't buy inserts. Right now I just use a prefold in them.

Prefolds are flat diapers that have been folded and sewn in the middle.

You can fold them into thirds to use as an insert, that way you don't hafta keep buying the disposable kind.
