So how many nurslings do we have right now?

Any challenges this past month?
How old is your nursling and how often does he/she nurse?
Sleeping well through the night?

Re: Breastfeeding Check-in Sept (it's close enough-lol)

Parker is 6wks old today and has been a nursing pro right from the get go.
So far no challenges not even with going back and forth with the bottle here and there. We use the Nuk style nipples for bottles and binkies and I think that helps a lot. The only real 'challenge' that we have is that PJ has a sensitive belly and is prone to colic so I have to really watch what I eat. I introduced rice cereal last week mixed with breast milk and it has actually helped his colic imo. I think because he isn't nursing as much in the evenings (he was cluster feeding every night which meant nursing every hr from around 5p-10p) so therefore having less gas to make his belly upset.
Parker takes one 3hr nap most afternoons and then at night he goes any where from 4-6.5hrs at night before needing to nurse. After that he nurses prolly every 2-3hrs but I couldn't really tell ya since I bring him to bed with me in the early mornings and let him nibble as much as he wants.

How is everyone else doing?

Stuart is 6.5 months.
No issues other than if we are out and it's loud or fun (fair, baseball games etc) he doesn't want to nurse he just wants to watch whats going on. He eats 1-2 solid meals a day (as in a jar of baby food - stage 2) and has a few of these cracker/rice cake things.

Sleep is our one issue but its getting so much better. He takes 3 -1 hour naps during the day. and goes to bed around 8 with the girls but how LONG he sleeps changes nighly - sometimes he's back up every 2 hours other times he sleeps til about 2. HE doesn't sleep much more than 6 hours IF I get lucky. But he doesn't wake cause he's hungry - he wakes cause he rolls over or he just wants mommy.

Lucas is 11 months old and is still going strong! Like Stuart, if it's loud or we're out he won't nurse he just wants to play. I just wish he would sleep better at night, he still wakes up a lot. He does take 2 or 3 naps per day. He eats table food when we eat.

You all remind me of my days, I breastfed both my kids for six months, after that I stopped breastfeeding.

Him being easily distracted is a challenge.
He sleeps mostly through the night, he goes to bed at 9 wakes up at 5am then goes back to sleep then wakes up again at 8 or 9 am
