done any research into church records? One of the suggestions I got for my thesis was to research church records. Honestly, I am not a church goer anymore. I have no idea how to approach these churchs and ask to go through their records. If they even have records from the 1950s. Also, I would also not like to receive any pressure to join their church as I will be going to several demoninations. But mainly because I just don't want to jion their church. Any ideas?
