Who Watches Oprah?

So the other day I was watching it at the gym and OMG this lady on the show pissed me off.

So she got "assaulted" or something like that from this guy.

Long story short, from what I can remember lol

She was in the parking lot with her baby and she saw a strange guy and the other end of the parking lot, this was like at 8 or something at night... the guy approaches her and they start talking and she thinks he is a cool dude. She gets in the car with him, then they go for a ride....she notices he is masturbating and asks to go back. He ignores her she asks again, then she tries to get out of the car, he shoves her face into the window and she can't move.... HER BABY FALLS INTO THE FLOOR FROM HER LAP...she begs him to let her pick up her son...he does then drops them off on the side of the road or something.


I stopped watching after dr. phil said, "remember don't get into cars with strangers" and after I saw them not talk about the poor baby it was all awwwwwwwwwwww poor girl and what she went through! wtf Poor baby! I don't feel sorry for the chick she was an idiot.

She gets in the car with a strange man with no car seat or anything for her child. So if this had worked out for her, she would have gone home with strange guy and taken her baby with her? What a moron! Poor baby. He has an idiot for a mother who doesn't put his safety very high on the totem pole. I can't imagine getting into a car with my child and not putting them in a car seat. Never put your own fun before the safety of your child. I am guessing her plan in doing this was to have a good time.

Pet peeve time here: Some poor single mom who works two jobs and has no one to help her falls asleep and her kids wonder out and find trouble and suddenly CPS and the media are at her door taking her kids away and telling her what a terrible mom she is. Because OMG after working 16 hours a day 7 days a week the woman falls asleep! Oh the horror!

Another parent has a child fall or something and get hurt while he or she is in the shower and it's OMG call CPS that should have never happened. In the modern age, parents are never supposed to shower, sleep or have any biological functions. They should keep their eyeballs peeled on that child even during the times for natural, necessary biological functions and if they can't and something happens there is he!! to pay. We see it in the news all the time. And the media has no sympathy whatsoever for the parent.

Now this idiot does something every five year old knows not to do and is trained not to do in school and they have all this sympathy for her? This man's plan could have been for her baby not for her. She put her baby in severe danger intentionally and people have all the sympathy in the world for her? What is wrong with people?

I know!!!! uggggg I got super pissed and stopped watching I was hoping people would call her an idiot but no one did!

I agree with your pet peeve, its so true! That is why I am happy I live with my parents and not alone, before I moved out of my house and when I was alone it was hard enough to do stuff for ME..like take a shower because I didn't want to leave the baby alone for to long, so 5 min showers it was for me!

A couple of years ago my kids' dr told us about a single mom with two kids. While she was in the shower, the older one gave the toddler a marshmallow. Well, the child choked to death and died despite everything she and our dr did to save the child. The hospital reported her to CPS for neglect. She lost one child and she had to deal with CPS down her throat because she should have been watching her child instead of showering. Our dr felt terrible because a) he couldn't save the child either and b) he's a dad too.

That's why I quit watching all those shows. They get some on there and expect you to feel sorry for them. NOT gonna happen!

What is it with people and reality shows? Your life isn't miserable enough? You have to watch some other poor soul make a jacka$$ out of themselves? I'm not talking things like AI or Survivor (which I think is a big ole soap opera these days), I mean things like Big Brother, etc. I have better things to do. I get embarassed for some of them, so I just don't watch
