Hi All,
I'm sorry about the delay but I would like to introduce myself as the new forum owner and admin at babyuniversity.com.
So - a quick intro. My name is Bob Sheth, and I own a company called MoveForward.com - which owns and administers forums. I have recently taken over ownership of BabyU from Escalate Media. My company is a small - a one man shop - and I own and have experience in running forums for quite a few years. A couple of other sites I am currently running include; www.expatforum.com and www.propertycommunity.com.
On a personal level, I live in London and am happily married to Sarita with a couple of babies of our own; my daughter Ami is aged 4 and son Rohan is aged 2 (pics below).
I have quite a lot of plans for the site - the main one being to try and bring the traffic back to where it was a couple of years ago. I know that's a big statement and possibly a tall order but that's what I'm here to try and do.
I have been busy working on some tech stuff behind the scenes. Things like software upgrades, urgent design changes, optimising the site, moving the server etc. Unfortunately I have broken a few things along the way - such as image displays which are being resolved right now.
I have to admit that I am truly amazed at loyal support and deep emotions that senior members have for babyu. I know this used to be an amazing site when it was founded and run by the original owner. I also know and understand that a site like this lives and dies by its member's support. So I have a huge favour to ask each member here. Please help us to make the site great again by coming back, making posts and networking through the site. The admin & moderating teams are committed to help and I am personally committed to listen to any feedback members have - wether its good or bad. Please post your thoughts on this thread.
Finally, I'm really happy to meet you all and work with you on this fantastic community.

Hello Bob, as everyone else has expressed so well, we are very glad to see a parent who cares about our "school" and more importantly our home. Over the last 8-9 years we have shared so much of our lives with each other, we are truely an international sisterhood who are more than happy to welcome a male into our ranks, heaven knows we have tried over the years to encourage more males to post (even my DH Black Knight used to post fairly regularly esp if someone had a "what on earth is going thru HIS mind" question LOL ).
