If you wear foundation/powder on your face...

Do you have to wear a different color in the winter than you do the summer?

I don't get a ton of sun (haven't tanned in years, indoors or out) and I even try to remember to wear my lotion with sun screen but I still end up with enough to darken my face a bit. My foundation really isn't a problem as I use a mineral powder but I do have to use less (and sometimes a different) bronzing powder because I think it looks too red when my face is paler.

I don't use any powders on my face, because I read it makes wrinkles look deeper. I don't need that!

My color of foundation definitely changes. I didn't get a chance to lay in the sun much this past summer but I still went 'up' two shades vs what I wear in the cooler months. Two summers ago there was a HUGE diffence and I had prolly 5 bottles of foundation-LOL

I wear powder foundation, and I do change the shade in the summer.

I never thought about it! I don't wear makeup enough for it to even occur to me. And I try not to wear foundation, anyway. Hate the way it feels on my skin

I typically change by a shade, as I try to remember my sunscreen, and even with that , the amount of time I spend outside during the summer, I get a little color change.
