Re: What are you making for Thanksgiving?

I am doing something different this year and making a Sirloin Roast, w/ Parsnip mashers, roasted root vege's, greens, homemade mac and cheese, sweet pot casserole, pumpkin pie, pineapple upside down cake, and cherry cobbler.... I might make brownies too...i think there always needs to be a chocolate dessert...lol I am cooking it all too...lol The inlaws are coming over and it's going to be a nice quiet day (my inlaws are super easy and low maintenance) I'm excited to stay home for a holiday for a change...

Re: What are you making for Thanksgiving?

We are making the turkey (since I had one in the freezer already) and taking it to the in-laws. I have no idea what else will be made. Probably stuffing (I'll be taking my own since I can't eat Mom's after the surgery), greenbeans for sure. I may make some succotash for me and take it over. They wanted us to make broccoli cheese cassarole, but I refuse to make something that I can't eat! (besides the turkey, that is). Hell, the way I'm feeling today, I may not even go. And I don't like eating in front of people right now, so I amy stay home even if I feel better. All i need is my dumbass family making stupid comments on the way I eat to piss me off and ruin the holiday.
