10 month old not sleeping

My wife and I are new to the forum hoping we can find a solution for this, but the biggest problem we are having is around 2 am, he will wake up and be active and ready to go like it is 7am, and he will not go back to sleep until around 4 am. He has a 8 ounce bottle before he goes to sleep, naps fine throughout the day, eats regualr like he should as well. We have tried everything we possibly can, does anyone have any advice for this at all?

My wife and I are looking forward to reading all the stories that ya'll have on here and are glad we found the website.

Cut out some of the napping during the day. If he's napping 2-3 hours try waking him up early. If he's taking more than one nap during the day try eliminating the late afternoon nap. Perhaps maybe just re-working the schedule slightly you can get a good nights rest. And Welcome!!!!

I was going to suggest teh same as Karen. and to the site!!!

My dd went through a spurt at around that age where she would not sleep at night but was her usual self during hte day....could be that her body is gearing up for a growth spurt, or changing its cycle a bit

i'm thankful this didn't happen to me. Are you keeping things super quiet and boring at 2am? no noise and no playing just food and back to bed right? sounds good in theory

i hope you and your wife get a great nights sleep soon!

Wish I could help. my 8yp (almost 9) STILL rarely sleep thru the entire night. We did find that we had to completely cut out her late afternoon nap at about 15 months or she never went to sleep before 12 or 1 am.
