Eyelash perming?

Has anyone ever had this done? We have a new Tuscan Sun Spa in town and this is one of the services they offer. What in the heck is it? I have had eyelash curlers, but wouldn't it be a bad idea to put perming chemicals next to your eyes? Or do they just curl your eyelashes and charge like a perm?

Re: Eyelash perming?

i can honestly say i have never heard of it either I just had to google it and here is what I found

I see how eyelash perming could sound enticing: You'd have perfectly flipped-up lashes 24-hours a day, no eyelash curler required. The way it works is that your lashes are treated with a special glue, and then wrapped around a mini sponge-y roller. While holding your eyes tightly shut, the perming solution is applied to the upturned lash, and then it is left to set for about five minutes. The result is that "wide-awake" look, which lasts for two to three months.

Ummmmmm no thank you
