I don't even know where to start!!!! Things have gotten so bad for me and I am really not handling very well. I am at work now but will explain later what is going on.

Things in my life haven't been good in a while and I am not dealing very well with any of it.
Last weekend I totally lost it on my husband and we did not speak for 3 days.
I basically feel like I am an elastic that has been stretched to it's limit and I am about to snap. I even shut out my mother-- she called me 5 times before I answered the phone and I told her that I wanted to be left alone and that I do not want to celebrate the holidays. She of course told me that I need help and I should see someone and I would feel better. I would love to know just how I can get to talk to someone when I am with the kids ALL the time and can barely get anyone to watch them so I can get a break.
As for Christmas, I am struggling financially and don't have much for the kids and have nothing to get my inlaws or my mother. My siblings want to buy for 1 kid and 1 adult and I can't even participate so I do not want to spend the holidays with them ( I don't need the pity or sarcasm from some of them ).
I haven't even gotten the cards out that I promised to send to all of you-- I am truly sorry.
All I ask is that you keep me in your thoughts.

hon we have all been in your shoes at one point in time or another....I was at that point last year. I finally talked to my dr and went on medication. I was totally not myself and everyone else around me could see it.....I still struggle from time to time but things are a lot better than they were.

Things to get better....but you hve to be able to find someone to talk to about it...and sometimes medications can help.....hon please please talk to your dr about how you are feeling....you know its not right, and even just talking to someone is a huge stress relief

Mary Beth, I am EXACTLY where you are right now, so I totally understand. Heck, I even told Rick that if things don't change I'm leaving (never done that!). I'm miserable and it seems like it all falls on me. Sound familiar? Honey, you HAVE to talk to someone, ANYONE. Minister, dr, therapist, BFF, call a friend (even if you haven't seen them in years). Drag the kids with you if you have to, but go! Sometimes talking about it helps more than you can realize. But talk to your dr as soon as you can. Being on meds can help sooooo much! Don't leave it too long. Depression (and I'm betting that's part of it) only gets worse the longer you wait to treat it.
