but, Money is so tight here it squeaks, there is absolutely no room left in our budget, with barely enough to cover gas and groceries after we pay the bills. I lowered our cell phone minutes (I would cancel but it's contract, will cost more to cancel than to pay) to lower the bill, have been baking home made bread etc in efforts to make the dollar stretch far enough. Been looking for a job, but it's a small town and so far nothing....
I applied for a debt consolidation through our bank tonight, hoping and praying it goes through. If you could send up some prayers for that it would be wonderful... Will make the difference between having about $350 a month to cover groceries and gas and having enough money to breathe.

My thoughts are with you. BTW, tot here, dh's favorite uncle lives in the same town as you. He's lived there for over 30 years. He was fire chief at the base forever.
