What are the worst Christmas gifts you have ever received?

Re: Worse Christmas gifts

Every year, I receive at least one box of chocolates and a set of gourmet coffees. Did I mention I have a severe allergy to both? I have gotten clothes in the giver's size and style. The giver's favorite perfume and decor that matches nothing in my home but everything in the giver's home. All while the giver brightly smiled and said I could give it back. Is it any wonder I have asked my family just not to get me anything?

Re: Worse Christmas gifts

Yeah - I just won't go there. It's not often that I get something wonderful earth shattering. I honestly can't even tell you the last time I got some awesome wonderful memorable gift.

Although this year from my parents we got picture frames with 4 pictures in them, one of our family (Kev & I and the girls) from last xmas, My family (my mom, dad & bros w/me, one of all of us that were at Xmas (my family, my parents, and my bros families) and then one of me & my brothers. Its the 1st gift I've gotten in a long time that was very thoughtful of the giver (my parents) and not all about what I "wanted". (although last year we got good gifts from my parents too)

Re: Worse Christmas gifts

I didn't really get a really bad gift. Some things prolly won't be used but it's the thought that counts and I appreciate them. They will probably just be regifted at some point

Has to be the shaggy purple purse I got one year. Yeah, I love purple but I'd NEVER have used it. One of the neices got it the next year and loved it!

Re: Worse Christmas gifts

I think the worst was the spice/hot pepper/pasta/collander generic "basket" gift that my sister in law got us the year before we got married...... my husband and I do not eat hot peppers or hot sauce.... no one in the family does. Talk about out of left field....
