Bleeding Gums in Pregnancy

Brushing and flossing your teeth is an important part of your daily health routine. This should not change in pregnancy. However, due to the increase in pregnancy hormones, specifically progesterone, you may notice that your gums become swollen and may even bleed when you brush or floss. This does not mean that you should stop brushing or flossing.

I had terrible time with this when I was pregnant. I could wave a toothbrush in front of my face and my gums would start bleeding.

Hey, girls as i am certified practising dentist, i suggest its better to get your teeth cleaned profeesionaly by a dentist or hygenist at the very start of your pregnancy. It will help seriously!!
