What is your favorite day of the week? Why? Did you ever have a different favorite day?

I used to be a Friday kind of gal when I was single, because that was the last day of work and the best day for parties. When I was a little kid, Saturday was the best day, because of Saturday morning cartoons. Now, Wednesday and Thursday are good because nothing is packed and everything is open. Saturday is pretty good because everything is open late. Sunday is good because there is no mail, therefore, no bills arriving. Tuesday is my kids' favorite day because its kids' nigh at their favorite restaurant. Monday is still Monday even if you aren't working and your kids are homeschooled. Isn't that funny? Seriously, though, any day I am alive and well is a good day.

I love Mondays. They are like Fridays. Since the later part of the week is our busy time the early part of the week is my "weekend" I like to stay in jammies and get caught up on things around the house.

Friday is my favorite day of the week. It has been for a while now, but it started when I was in college because it was when I got paid (I was a nanny) and Kyle and I usually ate out on Friday nights--a treat when I was in college. It also meant the end of the busy weekday stuff--school and work. Then after I started staying home with Emily, Friday was the night that we didn't have to get to bed early, and we have Bible study on Friday nights, which means good fellowship! It's the same now, Bible study=fellowship, and no early bedtimes, we've made it through the week of school and work.
When I was in high school, Sunday was my favorite day of the week because I slept late and had a leisurely day.
