This is a just a routine 6-month MRI EXCEPT for the fact that last time I was in the doctor's office I was told "oops, we haven't been including the big tumor in your neck as part of your scan". Somehow between transfering from Duke to OSU only the small tumor in my ear has been the focus of scans and the large one in my neck (the one that has been treated 3 times) slipped under the radar. I blame myself for some of it for not asking more questions ... I took the "no change" as no change and didn't ask for specifics. Sooo, this will be the first time in well over two years that we have seen the actual cause of concern. It has me a little nervous but at the same time, I've been doing this so long that it just feels like "another scan".
