OK...I'm going to whine.....a lot...since I certainly can't do much else. So Friday night into Saturday we got about 30 inches of snow...SUCKED...big time. My work was closed Saturday so I lost 6 hours of pay. Six hours is a lot of groceries. So yesterday they were calling for another 8-18 inches....well as of right now we have gotten another 22 inches and IT'S STILL SNOWING!I have shoveled until I am blue in the face..literally... and there is still so much I need to shovel. I have 6 foot mountains on each side of my drive way and I can't even lift the shovel up that high to get rid of the rest. I hurt...I'm tired...and of coarse work is again canceled tonight since we are in the midst of a major Blizzard...another 6 hrs....my check is going to suck. We never get this much snow....haven't seen anywhere close since 1996....and the last few years we hardly had any....now we can't even get dug out. I read about them trucking snow in for the Olympics...I wish they would come take mine...I have no where else to go with it.
Well I guess I might as well stop...it's time to go dig out the poor dogs potty spot again.....since the snow completely buries my Boxer and the Cocker Spaniel can't even walk in it.
Heck by the time I can actually go to work I won't be able to move I'll be so d@mn sore!
We had a melt between snows that helped us. I am happy about the snow, because my state relies a lot on winter tourists. I don't know how the kids are ever going to catch up with all the school they've missed. I hope it stops snowing where you are soon. Send it down here. The skiers always want more.
