Share your Valentine's Day with us!! What did you get? give? Did you and your DH/SO have special plans?

Chad and I didn't exchange any gifts but went out for a nice dinner and then over to the home of a couple we are close with just to hang out. We ended up playing goofy games like Pictionary Man, Sorry, and the Wii until almost 2:00 in the morning.

Re: Valentine's Day!!

We went out for a nice dinner thinking if we did not go immediately, we would get snowed in. And today, what do you know? We are snowed in.

Re: Valentine's Day!!

I did homework. I gave the kids cards, a book and a balloon each. Then I gave Chris a card. I ended up opening a card that I picked out for myself (long story). Then I had the pleasure of cooking dinner for everyone. Yay me!

Re: Valentine's Day!!

Friday night, Rick and I were busy moving boxes. Such fun! We also went and picked up a ton of decorations for the club we go to all the time for the owner (who is home sick with a nasty tummy flu that is going around). Saturday AM, more moving. Then I went and got my hair and nails done (part of my gift since my cuticles were so torn up they were actually cracked and hurt). Then we went shopping and he bought me a red dress to wear out Saturday night, as well as some sparkly earrings (cheap, but really pretty). Went out to the club Saturday night and had a good time. Sunday (Valentine's Day), Rick made me breakfast in bed (ham, hash browns and fried eggs) and gave me a bottle of Poison (my absolute FAVE prefume). I gave the kids a small box of chocolate, a candy checkers game and a new red shirt for each of them! LOL! Rick didn't want anything, so I cooked him a really nice dinner of steak, potatoes and green beans.

Have to admit, it's the best Valentine's Day I've had in years!

Re: Valentine's Day!!

Emily was really sick that day, but it was still a nice Valentine's Day.
Kyle gave me two cards--one funny, one sweet, a rose (I had told him no flowers, so he gave me one rose), and a new Starbucks travel mug, which I love.
We gave each of the kids a card, a small stuffed dog (Travis's is red, Emily's is pink), and a little bit of candy. Kyle also gave Emily a rose.
I bought MIL some Hershey's kisses and we gave her cards from the kids.
We also all went to Red Lobster for dinner (after Emily said she felt better), and it was pretty good. I splurged and had lobster tail, which I have not done in years.
