As with all curling teams, Team Canada features five member. Well, six if you really want to get technical with it.

Alternate Kristie Moore, 30, is 5-1/2 months pregnant, making her just the second athlete ever known to be with child during Olympic competition. Ninety years ago, Swedish figure skater Magda Julin won a gold medal at the Antwerp Games of 1920 while in her first trimester.

I'd never heard of a pregnant Olympian! I think it's pretty cool.

Yeah, Canada is most like going to take the Gold in Curling. But the US is WAY ahead in the medal race. So far we have like 14 (1st place). Canada only has 6 (4th place). But there are still lots of events to go.

They seem to be having a really bad year this year.

The Russians being nit good takes some of the fun out of it. There's no fun in a really good rivalry when one team sucks. I can't seem to work up the same excitement over beating Germans. It's a lot more fun beating the Russians or the Chinese.
