to be fit again! I just wish the weather would warm up and give me a little more motivation to get moving.
I'm doing fairly well with my goal of drinking water. I bought myself a large water bottle for at work and that has helped. Some days I'm drinking as much as 96 oz and others I only make it to 32 BUT I'm drinking water every day ... there were times before when I honestly couldn't remember the last glass of water I had.
I also have a goal of cutting back on my smoking which has been much harder to reach. I'll do fine sticking to my schedule one day and the next I'm back at a full pack a day. I really believe that cold turkey is the only solution to smoking but I know I don't have enough of a desire to quit to make that work. I'm one of those people that actually enjoys smoking most of the time ... I just can't afford it.
Being active is another area that is tough for me. I have a fairly active job ... I'm on my feet most of the day and do a decent amount of lifting when it comes to bringing donations in and out of the building BUT I'm only maintaining my weight with my activity level ... over all, I'm not in shape. I want to tone up and lose 6lbs ... it's gonna take something more.
How is everyone else doing? What are your strong areas? What areas do you need to work on?
