Spring Cleaning???

Anybody else starting their spring cleaning?

Today's project is Sammie's room. We are starting with her clothes and then going to clean and possibly rearrange her furniture. Should be fun persuading her to part with clothes.

Re: Spring Cleaning???

I have a lot of painting to do, but I am not going to start that until I can leave the windows open all day. A day like that seems a long wy away with 4+ feet of snow on the ground.

Re: Spring Cleaning???

It's too d@mn cold to do any spring cleaning ... I'm with Lenora, I want to be able to open the windows and air this place out.
BUT, there is a lot that I need to do. My closet is the big thing ... lots of junk piled up because I haven't decided what to do with it yet. Is it bad to say that I'm half waiting on Chad to say "Move in with me this summer" before I start anything? I'm in a funk wondering if it's going to happen...

Re: Spring Cleaning???

well... I finished Sammie's room. I want to paint too, but that will be later on when it's really nice out. I decided that since I have a ton of yard work to do when it gets a little warmer I needed to work on the inside spring cleaning before it got nicer. Of course we also aren't buried under snow like you all are.

Re: Spring Cleaning???

Right now I am still wading thru boxes and probably will be until the end of the month. Sorting thru what to keep, what to sell and what can just be tossed. That's kinda like cleaning, isn't it?

Re: Spring Cleaning???

well since you just moved into a new place that should be the extent of spring cleaning you need to do

Re: Spring Cleaning???

nope - I mean I have the urge but I'd rather sew .. So while the children (Stuart) naps I'm sewing as much as I can (and for an hour or two after bed) and while they are awake I will clean.

Re: Spring Cleaning???

Not yet, like the other I prefer it to be sunny and warm to open windows and dig through their summer wardrobes. It's a large job with 5 kids!

Re: Spring Cleaning???

I've got an itch to spring clean!! I haven't started yet but I really want to get a lot of my cleaning done by April 4 (my bro and nephew are coming into town on April 7 so I want the place to be a lot better than it is now. ).
