When do your kids have Spring break?

I remember when I was in school having an entire week off. My kids only have Thurs., Fri., and Mon. and that is MORE than some of the schools around here.

We only got a day or two and we could loose that if we had snow days. the kids here lost their spring break due to snow days this year.

My kids were off all last week plus the Friday before. Yesterday was their first day back and then they are off again for Good Friday but go back the Monday after Easter. IMO I think that spring break should be over Easter. I think it is strange having it so far beforehand.

We get off Monday after Easter til Friday. (they go Friday because its a private school and we have church - they get out after)

Ours was 2 weeks ago, in the middle of March. Alot of parents have asked that it be over Easter, but they won't move it. Spring Break is BIG business on the coast.

Ours is this week. M-F and Monday's a SIP day, so they are off....
