My mom needs prayers!

SO the one day I forget to take my cell phone with me! UUGG! I can't believe it!

My brother got ahold of me about 8pm tonight my mom was rushed to the ER.
She's unresponsive and having issues breathing. They have her restrained or she wouldn't stay on a bed. Last I heard they were taking her for a cat scan?

Last word (about 8:30 is that they think she may have od'd on her drugs. ) And I asked my brother intentionally or accidental and he said accidental (I only asked cause I know she battles depression and numerous times she's said she just wanted to die. )

Please send prayers good thought etc our way. I'm a complete wreck right now (and Alyssa feeds off my emotion so she's all worried now too - but I got her in bed)

I'm not posting this on FB cause I have a brother who just looks at this as more "mom drama" and I am seriously worried. I just saw her @ Easter adn she looked good & was happy.

My brother called me back at 11 last night and they were transferring her to another hospital. Her kidneys were failing (shes had this issue before)

I just got off the phone this morning with him and they left the hospital at 4 this morning and she looked like she was doing well only for my brother to talk to my dad once he got home (My brother went to be with my dad last night) to find out she took a turn for the worst and is now on a ventilator.

He said he'd call me back if he learns anything new this morning as my dad was going to call the dr back this morning for any updates before he heads to the hospital later.

Thanks guys! I talked to my dad a bit ago and he was telling me they have a few ideas of what it could be (a pre-stroke, brain tumor, kidney tumor, infection etc) but none of them explain all of her symptoms - so they are running tests this morning to try and find out. My dad said my Brother saw her and she freaked him out - so if she freaked HIM out I know I would be a wreck. (more so than I am now)

I offered to take my dad to dinner tonight if he'd like some company - I have someone who will take the kids for me if needed this weekend - We know she's there for atleast 48 hours but we don't expect her to be home before Monday. (and from whats going on I don't really see that happening either)

I will know more later (hopefully) my dad will call around noon (to the hospital) and check up on her before deciding if he's gonna head down or not.

I'm so sorry to hear about you mom. I'm super close to my mother and I know this feeling all to well. You're in my thoughts and I wish and hope that your mother will recover.

Talked to my brother - She's in Critical condition right now. Her blood pressure was dangerously low. They got it up better (sorry I can't remember numbers) but need it up more and to stabilize before more tests. Right now they are thinking infection but they aren't sure from where waiting to do a belly CT but her BP needs to go up.

Thank you everyone. I talked to my dad awhile ago and my mom has a blood infection. Started in her bladder, went to her kidneys and is now in her blood. Dad says I should wait a day or two to visit til she's co-herient and off the ventilator.

oh hon I am so sorry that your mom is going through all this. I hope that they can get the infection cleared up soon and she can come back home
