I'm Kim, almost 45 yo, and still adjusting to major life changes in the past three years. Got married in 2007, struggled to have a baby and finally succeeded last November, and am about to finalize the adoption of my 11-yo niece. So, from single to married mother of 2 in 3 years!
I've learned that being mom to the 11 yo is very different from, and so much better than, being her aunt. But what's even more incredible is being mom to my son. He's almost 6 months old and I cannot even put into words how incredibly wonderful he is.
Given my age, and all the other circumstances (problems getting pregnant, being pregnant, having PPD), I don't expect to have anymore children. So I want to make the most of his babyhood while I can.
