Are your kiddos out of school yet?

Wed is the last day for all of mine.
Today is their field day, tomorrow is Payton's kindergarten graduation and Wed Zach's entire 8th grade is going to 6 Flags! I am dreading the summer with 5 kids in a 2bdrm condo though. Going to buy pool passes this week!
So when are your kids finished for the summer?

Katie's last day is Thursday and Lyssie has a 1/2 day on Friday (they get yearbooks & play games) Her field trip is to the EAA museum - she is NOT excited about it at all.

We've been finished basically for a couple of weeks. However, as a homeschooled kid, school is never really "out" for them.

My kids are out next Tuesday. The following week Haley will be leaving for her trip to Disney. I'm not really looking forward to the summer and having everyone home all the time ... especially knowing Haley will be home alone half the week.
Not waking up to put Zach on the bus might be the only perk to school being out.

I hear ya Elaine. I look forward to not having to wake up at 6am but otherwise not really looking forward to it. They boys are a bear to get up before noon and to bed before midnight when they are out of school which in turn makes it difficult with the baby's sleep routine.

Mine are late, 2 weeks from tomorrow: June 8th. I have requested 1/2 day Fridays for vacation through the entire summer to plan some camping!

I have a no kids allowed camping trip planned for later in June. My mom is coming up to keep the kids for a few days ... she wants to take Haley back to NC with her for a little while but I don't know if that is going to happen.

Wow! I'm always a little amazed at how early your kids all get out for summer vacation! Logans school goes until June 30th this year! we have over a month left still!

Public school doesn't get out until June 8 here thanks to all the snow days. It starts up again on Aug. 8 to avoid the problems we had with so many snow days this year. Dh is feeling better and class is back on for dd. She's never really out of school.

June 8th I think? We didn't really have any snow days to make up since they scheduled so many days this year. And we actually had a day or two off a month so I don't mind going til the 8th. Since I work full time, they will be at my parents from 9 to 5 or 12:30- 6:30.

We are just anxiously waiting for ball to be over. It takes up so much time for a 9 year old. Games 3 nights a week and practice the other nights. It is wearing on all of us here!

Andrea, when do your kids go back to school? Mine at least, go back in early august ... It's a good 3 - 4 wks earlier than I remember going as a child ... the only way I remember that is because school always started right around my birthday

School let out on June 21 here... They go back August 12.
We just got back from one of our two planned trips this summer. We went to Virginia for a few days to see some old friends and Jim's brother.
Then I have summer school for me... Hoping to do lots of fun things on the weekends but we shall see.
Tessa has summer camp late June for a week, and then a trip to Texas to visit with her best friend for a week.
Sammie has summer camp in July for 4 days.
Karah just has Mommy time as always...
The first week of August is supposed to be a family trip to visit his brother and then on to Myrtle Beach to see George, Shona and the kids... Now to see if the Army lets Jim off.

Mine get out June 3rd (1/2 day). We used to start in early August and were out by mid May. They changed it last year when the state legislature passed a law stating that we can no longer start until the 3rd week of August. We lost alot of holiday time during the year because of it. The one I hate the most is they now only get half a day the day before Thanksgiving and the day after. We used to get the whole week and that's when we try to visit family. Now I have to try to do that during spring break, which alot of the kids still have school activities during, especially the HS which Drew will be at next year.

June is packed solid for us. Somcething going every single weekend and alot of week day stuff, as well. Gonna try to see my parents in July. We'll see.

We had 18+ snow days this winter. We always have many more snow days than they plan for, so I think this year, they just decided to actually plan for snow. It's only been really snowy here forever. Maybe next year, they'll actually figure out to buy salt.

my kids got out june 2nd...it was a half day. However we have Nathan's TSS coming twice a week for a total of 4 hours a week and his MT coming once a week through the summer. We're going to dh's company picnic at Darien Lake amusement park next Saturday and are going to Waldameer sometime this summer. We would also like to go camping sometime, just not sure if it's going to happen or not.
