Seoul, South Korea (CNN) -- A couple whose baby starved to death while they raised a virtual child in an online fantasy game was sentenced Friday, their defense attorney said.

And the mother is pregnant again. Give that baby away before they starve it to death, too.

That is incredibly sad ... and not just that the baby died, it's sad that something so silly can become SO important to a person that they put it before their children. I'll admit that I have 2 applications in particular that I spend about half an hour - an hour a piece on in the mornings ... but that is MY time. I wake up earlier than I need to so that I have time for coffee and internet before my kids get up. If I make too much noise or one of them happens to wake up early, I switch into mommy mode and my priorities change.

Oh, and I think 2 yrs. isn't nearly enough time for letting an infant starve to death.

I could be wrong but I thought it said that the father is serving two years and the mother got her two years suspended ... meaning that if she stays out of trouble for so long, she won't have to serve at all.

That's what I thought, too. Since she never does anything but play video games, I don't see her getting into much trouble.

Seems to me that playing video games is the cause of her neglecting her first child and their death. They should ban her from playing if possible.
